American recording artist and model Aaliyah has been in the news for her posthumous album, which is under process. Recently the singer’s record label through the Twitter account revealed the cover art of the album for which everyone was looking forward to.
In the artwork which was revealed, it seems like Aaliyah is floating in the ocean with her face imposed within the symbol A. However, the art cover seems scary as the singer died in a plane crash near the shores of the Bahamas.
The cover was unveiled by Barry Hankerson, Aaliyah’s uncle and the CEO of Blackground Records along with a confirmation that the album is soon coming up. Hankerson tweeted, Aaliyah 16 unreleased tracks 2013 stay tuned ”. Even the singers like Drake, who is an obsessive Aaliyah fan and Grammy Award winning producer Noah are also looking forward to the project.
Manager Mono Scott Young said, “Although Missy and Timbaland always strive to keep the memory of their close friend alive, we have not been contacted about the project nor are there any plans at this time to participate”. Young added that they have seen the reports surfacing that they have been confirmed to participate but that is not the case.
