Lynrd.com: American singer Adam Lambert and British rock band Queen will be appearing together at the Olympic Arena in Moscow on June 30, 2012.  It was earlier announced that Lambert will be there at the Sonisphere festival on July 7, 2012.

At present these are the only concerts that are planned for Lambert as well as Queen for the year 2012. The potential chemistry between Adam and Queen surfaced when Lambert joined them for closing the showcase at the MTV Europe Music Awards, following an  invitation by Roger Tyler and Brian May.

Queen at the awards were present to receive the Global Icon Award. In a recent interview with NME.com, Lambert said that he is not trying to replace Freddie Mercury and added that he is not even trying to imitate or compete in any way.
Adam added that it was an honour that he was asked to perform the music that he and the band wrote and put up a good show.

However, the singer is not thinking of another collaboration with Queen in future but insisted that the Knebworth show is simply a one-off. Lambert is now preparing for his upcoming album ‘Trespassing’ which is due to be released this year.
