Adele has captured the hearts and minds of people all over the world with her soothing emotive vocals and now the British singer could be part of a James Bond tribute at the Academy Awards in February 2013. Although still speculation at this stage, the ‘Skyfall’ singer could finally be hitting the stage after a hiatus brought on by the birth of her first baby in October, 2012.

The ‘Rolling in the Deep’ singer could also be nominated in the ‘Best Original Song’ category at the Academy Awards. The James Bond franchise celebrated 50 years in the limelight in 2012 and will be honored at this year’s awards, according to reports.

‘Skyfall’ has been one of the most successful James Bond movies till date, taking home more than 616 pounds at the box office and has boosted the reputation of Daniel Craig as being one of the most sought-after Bond’s in recent memory. Paul Epworth and Adele have written the music for the movie’s title track and it has received raved reviews since its release in 2012. It even reached number 2 on the UK singles charts in October, 2012.

The ‘Someone Like You’ singer has had a great 2012, having her first baby and notching up one of the biggest selling albums of the year in the US in the form of her album ’21’.
