The band confirmed in June 2013 that the upcoming record will be released on September 9, 2013 and will feature two previously released songs, ‘R U Mine?’, which premiered back in February 2012 and ‘Do I Wanna Know?’, which was released in July 2013.

The ‘I Bet You Look Good On The Dance Floor’ musicians also released a brand new track titled ‘2013’, but the song is no longer available for streaming due to a copyright claim. ‘2013’ is the B-side to ‘Do I Wanna Know?’ single and will not be included in the Arctic Monkeys’ latest record. Brit Awards winners’ ‘AM’ album will have guests including former member of The Coral, Bill Ryder-Jones and Josh Homme.

The ‘When The Sun Goes Down’ musicians are also set to play nine dates on their fall tour, which will include a homecoming gig at Sheffield’s Motorpoint Arena. The tour will start on October 22, 2013 at the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle and the band will play shows in Manchester, London, Liverpool, Cardiff, Birmingham and Glasgow, before finishing the tour with the Sheffield gig on November 2, 2013. The Strypes will support Arctic Monkeys on all upcoming dates.
