In what would seem like another embarrassing public defeat to Australian rap artist, Iggy Azalea, her new single “Azillion” will not be getting a video release. Ever.
On her official Twitter account, Iggy sent a number of tweets directed at her recording label and Ted Cockle, President of Virgin EMI Records.
The series of tweets started with:
Bad news update:my record label Virgin/EMI seems to feel the response to my viral record “zillon” wasnt good enough & im not allowed a video (sic)
I felt like it was dope so, whatever. ted cockle doesnt wanna see me shine. what can i say. (sic)
Anyhow i could say ALOT – but ill keep it mildly professional. Just wanted to let some of you guys asking know whats happening. (sic)
Even though she seems bitter in her rants about the video to her single not coming out, Virgin EMI has a good reason to can the show – the number of listens to the track on her official SoundCloud account is only 917k views. These are dismal numbers for a star of her stature, considering other female artists like Adele are breaking records within the same timeframe.

The no-holds-barred singer later joked that she might go ahead and blast the single from her car as she cruises on the road, to get attention – as if she hasn’t garnered enough already!
