Famous guitarist and musician Carlos Santana announced on November 20, 2013 that he is scheduled to release his first-ever album in Spanish in early 2014. The news was revealed during a press conference in Las Vegas and the record, titled ‘Corazón’ will be released by two labels, RCA and Sony Latin Iberia.

In addition to the upcoming album, RCA and Sony will be teaming up with the Mexico Tourism Board and HBO Latino and HBO Latin America and will film a live performance which is scheduled to be held on December 14, 2013 in Guadalajara and will have the majority of artists which will be featured on Santana’s new album. Some of the stars include: Gloria Estefan, Lila Downs, Romeo Santos, Diego Torres, Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, Ziggy Marley and Juanes, with whom the ‘Black Magic Woman’ musician recorded the first single, titled ‘La Flaca’.

Santana’s Spanish album will most likely be released in March 2014, while the live concert, which is titled ‘Corazón, Live From Mexico: Live It To Believe It’ will have its premiere during Spring 2014 on HBO. Both the record and the performance will be firsts in many ways. ‘Corazón’ will be the ‘Smooth’ musician’s first-ever Spanish-language record, while the concert will – for the first time ever – air simultaneously in HBO Latino and HBO Latin America.

Another part of the project will be the concert DVD, which is scheduled to be released later in 2014 and will feature a documentary of the musicians while on the road in Mexico.
