Lynyrd Skynyrd releases their brand new album God & Guns brings back the classic sound.
Classic southern rockers Lynyrd Skynyrd brings the sound of the Sweet Home days guests collaborator on the album like Rob Zombie the producer of their album is Bob Marlette.

“God & Guns” is scheduled for September 29 2009 by Loud & Proud/Roadrunner Records.
This is their first new material since 2003, “God & Guns” has 13 tracks, the recording sessions were held in Nashville, Tennessee.

Legends Lynyrd Skynyrd are all ready to appear on the Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien performing their new single “Simple Life” from the new album God & Guns by roadrunner records.
God and Guns is their first studio album since 2003’s Vicious Cycle, and their first release on Loud & Proud-Roadrunner.
The sudden deaths of longtime keyboardist Billy Powell and bass player Ean Evans earlier this year brought sad and unexpected twists to the album’s recording process.
Even along these tragedies the band has enjoyed continued success and visibility in the past couple of years including a recent Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction. Their rock anthem “Sweet Home Alabama” has crossed the 2 million mark in downloaded ring tones. With over 30 million sales from more the 60 records, Lynyrd Skynyrd still remains a big cultural icon that appeals to all generations till today.
