Systemhouse33 To Perform at Furtados Bengaluru Metal Meltdown 2010 Gig, Kryptos, Chronic Phobia among Others

May 2010 will be a delight for rock and metal music fans across India as it will see several explosive live performances by some great Indian metal bands in the city of Bangalore.

Furtados, a famous music store in India, will be hosting “Metal Meltdown” – a series of live performances that will take place at Furtados’ Music Store in Bangalore (Bengaluru).

The “Live Performances at Furtados” gig is scheduled to begin from April 22, 2010 onwards, and will showcase the best metal music bands that Indian music scene has ever seen.

Mumbai-Nagpur based metal band “Systemhouse33″ will be performing on 13th May 2010, and are all set to bring the house down.

Samron Jude, vocalist of Systemhouse33 says,”Its the first time that we will be playing Bangalore …and 2days later, one of our favorite bands Lamb of God performs in India for the first time.. Really excited.” Check out Systemhouse33 here

The week long music event will also feature bands such as Kryptos, Chronic Phobia, Purple Blood, Blind Image.

This event takes place a few days before the much awaited “Lamb of God” concert and is really good news for people who will be coming from all around India to watch some great talent.

Lamb Of God Perform In China For The First Time on April 13 2010

Metal band Lamb of God played for the first time in China at Star Live in Beijing to a crowd of metal heads on April 13, 2010.

Lamb of God’s China tour organizer, Guitar China’s Jiang Wei, told reporters that it took three months to plan and prepare for the concert. He said: “Our Taiwan counterparts gave LAMB OF GOD’s Asian tour plans to us. They are very happy to be making a stop in China.”

At the Beijing gig, Lamb off God played around 12 songs including Set to Fail, Walk With Me In Hell, Now You’ve Got Something To Die For, Ruin, Laid to Rest among others.

Lamb of God were scheduled to play in both Beijing and Shanghai, but the band was not able to secure a proper performing license, and performed in Beijing only.

Lamb of God are currently on a world tour that will take them across countries like India, Greece, Japan, Singapore, US till Oct 2010.

Guns N Roses April 13 Guatemala Concert Cancelled, Third Gig of South American Tour To Get Cancelled

Hard Rock band Guns N Roses’ April 13, 2010 concert in Guatemala City, Guatemala was reportedly cancelled due to poor ticket sales, according to the Nuestro Diario newspaper.

Reports say that Guns N Roses was supposed to play a concert on April 13, 2010 at Estadio El Ejército. The venue can accommodate more than 15,000 people, but only about 3,000 tickets had been sold!

Pedro Michelena, the President of the event management company in charge of the concert said:”I feel sad and helpless in this situation….We know that thousands of Guatemalans had the intention of seeing GUNS N’ ROSES.”

The organizers of the concert said that they will announce within 72 hours how all those who purchased tickets can get a refund.

Just a few days ago, Guns N Roses’ April 9, 2010 concert at Estadio Ricardo Saprissa in San Jose, Costa Rica was cancelled as a result of a faulty stage setup. No one was injured in the stage wreckage.

Last month, GnR had to cancel a concert at Rio De Janeiro’s Apoteose Stadium when heavy rain caused a similar problem to their cancelled Costa Rica gig.

Guns N Roses is an American hard rock band and is famous for songs like “Sweet Child of Mine”, “Paradise City” among others. The current lineup of GNR includes lead vocalist Axl Rose, lead guitarists Ron Thal and DJ Ashba, rhythm guitarist Richard Fortus, bassist Tommy Stinson, drummer Frank Ferrer, keyboardist Dizzy Reed and synthesizer player Chris Pitman.

2010 Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival Begins In July 2010, Lamb Of God To Perform

The tickets of the 2010 Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival have finally gone on sale with ticket sales opening from 2nd April 2010.

The music festival starts from Saturday, July 10 in San Bernardino, CA, and will see the fest across 26 cities between July and August 2010.

This Mayhem Fest 2010 lineup has some big metal acts like Korn, Rob Zombie, Lamb of God and Five Finger Death Punch. There is also a Jagermeister stage will have metal bands Hatebreed, Chimaira, Shadows Fall, Winds of Plague along with the Jagermeister Battle of the Bands winner.

Atreyu, Norma Jean, In this Moment and 3 Inches of Blood will also be performing.

Lamb of God will also be performing in India in May 2010. This will be the first time that the metal band will be performing in India – which is known to have a huge metal fanbase.
