Dave Lombardo all set to join Amen

Former Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo all set to join Amen for their brand new album release.

American hardcore punk influenced band – Amen – is all set to have a new addition as former Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo plans to join in the band’s new full fledged revival venture.

Amen is led by the demagogue Casey Chaos who is currently working on the band’s new album set to release later this year. The band is also set for its much awaited return to the UK this August.

Amen announced with great excitement their new addition to the band – former Slayer and current Philm drummer – Dave Lombardo. 

So the complete new and rejuvenated line-up of AMEN members is as follows – Duke Dector and John King on guitars, Dave Lombardo on drums, John Fahnestock on bass. All of them will team up with longtime producer Ross Robinson for their new album.

“I am very proud to have been asked to be part of this amazing production with Casey Chaos and Ross Robinson”, said Lombardo.

The band were dormant for quite a few years after 2007, however, on 26th February 2014 they announced their performance at the UK’s AltFest this August.

The Band’s captain Casey Chaos expressed his anticipation about Dave joining Amen, “It’s great to be working again with Dave, this time in AMEN. He brought so much power, aggression and passion to the music on the new record, in a way only he could only deliver. Without question this is THE most important album I’ve ever made. I’m looking forward to unleashing it live and destroying ourselves for your pleasure!”, said Casey.
