Rock icon David Bowie made a triumphant return to the music scene with his latest, critically-acclaimed album ‘The Next Day’ and both the fans and critics will have even more to look forward to, as the ‘Modern Love’ singer is about to release a three-disc collector’s edition of his Mercury Prize-nominated record. The new set, titled ‘The Next Day Extra’ will include the original CD with 14 tracks, a CD with 10 bonus songs and a DVD with 4 promotional films.

Out of the 10 bonus tracks on the second CD, 4 will be completely new and 2 will be remixes, while the 4 promotional films on the DVD have already been released: ‘The Stars (Are Out Tonight)’, ‘Where Are We Now?’, ‘Valentine’s Day’ and ‘The Next Day’. ‘The Next Day Extra’ is scheduled to be released on November 5, 2013.

The ‘Let’s Dance’ singer released his single, ‘Where Are We Now?’ on his 66th birthday earlier in 2013 and announced his first album in ten years, ‘The Next Day’. Bowie’s latest record became an international hit, reaching No. 1 spot in 15 countries, including the UK, while it claimed the No. 2 spot in the US.
