There are good news ahead for both Eminem fans and gaming enthusiasts, as the hip-hop superstar is making his comeback to the music scene with the release of ‘Survival’, a new non-single that will be featured in the latest video game ‘Call Of Duty: Ghosts’, but will also appear on the rapper’s upcoming studio album. ‘Survival’ made its debut on August 14, 2013 twice – on Eminem’s official website, as well as in a new trailer for ‘Call Of Duty: Ghosts’.
The ‘Lose Yourself’ rapper is releasing yet another snarling epic, but with a twist. The track’s lyrics – including, “This is survival of the fittest” – are very appropriate for the tough and very popular military video game. Eminem’s eagerly-anticipated album – follow up to 2010′ release ‘Recovery’ – does not have a release date yet, but an official announcement regarding the first single and a new record is expected in the near future.
‘Call of Duty: Ghosts’ is set to be released on November 5, 2013 on different gaming platforms and ‘Survival’ premiered during Activision’s live, multiplayer event for the upcoming game that had a worldwide broadcast.
With huge hits like ‘Love The Way You Lie’ featuring Rihanna and ‘Not Afraid’, the rapper’s last record ‘Recovery’ was the 2010’s best-selling album, which earned Eminem a Grammy Award nomination for album of the year. In 2011, the hip-hop superstar released a full-length collaboration with Royce da 5’9, titled ‘Hell: The Sequel’, under the name Bad Meets Evil.
