Hip hop icon Eminem is back on the music scene after taking a break and his fans are eagerly anticipating whatever comes next. Exactly one month after he released his first video for the single ‘Berzerk’, the ‘Lose Yourself’ rapper decided to treat his fans with another video, this time for the single ‘Survival’. The latest video had its debut on the superstar’s Vevo channel on October 8, 2013 and ‘Survival’ is another track from Eminem’s upcoming album ‘The Marshall Mathers LP 2’, but is also featured in the game ‘Call of Duty: Ghosts’.
The video for ‘Survival’ features Eminem in some kind of a warehouse, as the footage from the video game plays in the background. At one point, the ‘Not Afraid’ rapper is seen performing live and then the video shows the warehouse setting again. Along with Eminem, a drummer is performing, which emphasizes the track’s rock sound, something that was also very noticeable in the hip hop star’s first single, ‘Berzerk’.
As the video premiered on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 in the evening, it already managed to score over 1,300,000 views on YouTube and the number is growing fast. ‘The Marshall Mathers LP 2’ is the rapper’s eighth studio album, scheduled to be released on November 5, 2013 and produced by Rick Rubin, DJ Khalil, Dr. Dre and many more.
