The hip-hop superstar Eminem is set to make a comeback to the music scene. The famous rapper announced the news via a Beats by Dre commercial that was aired during the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, August 25, 2013. The ‘Lose Yourself’ rapper revealed that his first record after the 2010’s highly-successful release ‘Recovery’ would debut on November 5, 2013.

In addition to that, Eminem’s loyal fans will not have to wait too long, as the ‘Not Afraid’ rapper will release his first single, track titled ‘Berzerk’, on Tuesday, August 27, 2013. Eminem’s upcoming, highly-anticipated album ‘Marshall Mathers LP 2’ is the follow-up to his ‘Marshall Mathers LP’, which was released back in 2000 and achieved global success. The new record was produced by the hip-hop superstar’s longtime collaborators Rick Rubin and Dr. Dre.

Eminem teased his fans by logging onto Instagram before the MTV Awards on August 25, 2013 and sharing a picture of the VMA logo, with the caption, “Guess who’s REALLY back? #VMAs.” Both the fans and critics were eager to find out more about the famous rapper’s new project ever since he mentioned that he was working on new songs in 2012.

Eminem’s latest release ‘Marshall Mathers LP 2’ will mark his eighth studio album and the ‘When I’m Gone’ rapper’s previous releases include: ‘Infinite’ in 1996, ‘The Slim Shady LP’ in 1998, ‘The Marshall Mathers LP’ in 2000, ‘The Eminem Show’ in 2002, ‘Encore’ in 2004, ‘Relapse’ in 2009 and ‘Recovery’ in 2010.
