After a long wait of 18 years, Faith No More will release a new album due to be out in April 2015.
American rock band Faith No More have finally decided to break away from their long hiatus and come out with a brand new album which is due for release in April 2015.
The band was formed in 1981 and split up in 1998, their two major LP releases – The Real Thing (1989) and Angel Dust (1992) garnered much commercial success. The former was even accredited with a UK gold sales certificate.
The album – which will be their 7th album as a band – will be produced under their in-house label Reclamation Records and distributed by band member Mike Patton’s Icepac Recordings.
The band’s original frontman and bassist Bill Gould – who will produce the album on his own -told RollingStone.com, “The name has to do with the fact that we realized we were free from our recording obligations.”
The quintet will give audiences a sneak peek into the new album as they release a premier single Motherf****r on November 28, 2014 and it will do so with 5,000 copies on a seven-inch record!
Ever since Faith No More reunited 2009, they have enthralled fans with several performances and gigs across London and Poland.
Band members Billy Gould, Roddy Bottum and Mike Bordin will also receive a tribute by Twinkle Twinkle Rock Star who have recorded over 13 of the band’s songs into lullaby versions. They are also due for US tour next year.
