Kicking off on the 4th of July, Foo Fighters unveil massive 2015 North America tour.

American rock band Foo Fighters has announced its mega 2015 North American tour. The announcement which was made on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 gave fans a peek into what the band has planned out.

Foo Fighters will kick off the tour on Independence Day (4th July 2015) at RFK Stadium in Washington, D.C. and will be on the road till the fall of next year. There will also be a gala two night performance – July 18 and 19 – at Boston’s Fenway Park. The tour will conclude at Memphis on October 7, 2015.

The tour is in support of the band’s new album Sonic Highways that was released last week, this was the band’s eight studio album and was recorded across scores of cities in the United States. The band turned the entire journey into an HBO TV series with the same name. Lead drummer Dave Grohl and the others also included an interesting feature in the series wherein the musical histories of each city were visited and chronicled.

British Hard Rock group Royal Blood will be Foo Fighters’ guests on July 6, 2015 until August 25, 2014, excepting on July 18, 2015, when America post-punk band Mission of Burma will enthrall the crowds.

In a bid to avoid scalping, tickets will be made available on this Saturday (November 22, 2014) 10:00 AM in a sales event that the band is calling “Beat the Bots”, stated the press release. Tickets will also be on pre-sale online from December 1, 2014.
