Popular American alternative rock band Foster the People is set to return to the music scene in 2014. The ‘Pumped Up Kicks’ musicians are scheduled to release their second studio album, titled ‘Supermodel’ on March 18, 2014 and their first single, ‘Coming of Age’ was teased at the beginning of January 2014 and had its debut in full on Monday, January 13, 2014.

Foster the People to release second album Supermodel on March 18, 2014

‘Coming of Age’ features a time-lapse video and the song itself has the recognizable Foster the People flavor to it: frontman Mark Foster’s high-register vocals, peppy chorus and an upbeat guitar, which is in line with the majority of the trio’s earlier releases. Back in spring 2012, Foster explained that the band’s next record would be celebratory, but with more grit.

Foster the People’s second album follows ‘Torches’, which was released in 2011 and featured ‘Pumped Up Kicks’, the band’s No. 1 tune on the Alternative Songs chart. The trio’s debut album also had two more top 10 hits – ‘Helena Beat’ and ‘Don’t Stop (Color on the Walls)’ – while their fourth single, ‘Houdini’ was not as successful and reached No. 37 spot.

Here is the official track list for ‘Supermodel’, set to be released via Columbia Records:

1. “Are You What You Want to Be”
