Game of Thrones stars perform acoustic cover of Tom Waits’ I Hope That I Don’t Fall In Love With You

It looks like the friendzoned lot of HBO’s Game of Thrones are working on their pipes and musical abilities to win their crushes over. A video went viral when Ser Jorah Mormont (Iain Glen), Sandor “The Hound” Clegane (Rory McCann), Tormund Giantsbane (Kristofer Hivju) and Beric Dondarrion (Richard Dormer) played an acoustic version of Tom Waits’ I Hope That I Don’t Fall In Love With You.

The video was posted by Kristofer Hivju who plays Tormund on the hit series. Using just an acoustic guitar and ukulele, the soft melting voice of Iain Glen can be heard muttering to the romantic lyrics of the track. This is so different from what we are used to hearing on Game of Thrones, thanks to epic music of Ramin Djawadi. No, it’s not as terrorising as The Light Of The Seven or even the opening score, and don’t expect it to be The Rains Of Castamere.

Kristofer Hivju tagged it as “Brothers Without Banjos”.
