The successful drama series on HBO has humongous number of fans worldwide and this concert will not only be a one-of-a-kind and once-in-a-lifetime deal for music lovers but will also bring together all the GOT buffs spanning continents for the spin-off.
The US tour of GOT concert has already seen its debut and its now time for the 20-date European tour to follow up, post which the concert will again take place in North America late next year.
With impressive visuals, customized stage, choir, orchestra (both orchestra and choir helmed by Djawadi) and other musical instruments, the performance will truly be a “dream come true” for the audiences, as aptly put by Djawadi himself, when announcing the tour on the Facebook page of HBO.
“The scale and spectacle of the production brought the world of Westeros to life in a truly immersive fashion, and I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to share the experience with fans not only in North America again, but also to cross the narrow sea for the first time and bring the show to Europe.”
The tickets for the show will be available from Friday, September 29 while pre-sale for priority members will take place on September 28, Thursday. Tickets for the concert in Ireland will be on sale from October 5, Thursday.
The all-arena tour for US and Canada was first announced on August 8, 2016 at a Los Angeles concert that spanned across 24 dates. The concerts have included LED telescoping, wall screens, 3D designs on the stage floor, apart from some exclusive musical instruments customized for the grand event. The live concert began on February 20, 2017 in Saint Paul, Minnesota while the last show in US was orchestrated in April in Oregon.
Reports suggest that it will be a 20 dates-20 cities tour next May and June for Europe and after that, the concerts will return to North America in September 2018. The tour will reportedly end in Toronto, Canada in October next year.
This is an opportune moment for all the GOT fans world over to come together and immerse themselves in the world of Westeros and Essos.
