Guns N’ Roses sell more than 1Million tickets for their 2017 European Reunion Tour!

Guns N’ Roses tickets for European and Canadian gigs went on sale December 9 and in 24 hours, one million tickets had been sold! This brings the total number of tickets sold since their reunion to 3 million, and the figure keeps growing exponentially by the hour.

Their European tour is set to kick off May 27, with the first gig being held at Slane Castle in Dublin, Ireland. They will return to North America by late July to continue with their North American tour in the US and Canada. For the US stadium show, tickets went on sale today.

Guns N’ Roses’ reunion lineup includes members Duff McKagan, Slash, Dizzy Reed and Axl Rose. Also in the lineup are keyboardist Melissa Reese, drummer Frank Ferrer, and guitarist Richard Fortus.

In addition to Europe and North America, Guns N’ Roses also have shows booked in Australia, United Arab Emirates, Japan, Thailand, New Zealand and Singapore between January and early March. Earlier in the year, the band earned a whopping $117 million from their US tour. The band is rumored to join Radiohead and Co and tour Glastonbury, as they have gaps in their schedule.

In an interview with the LA Times, Kirk Hamett expressed his disappointment in the fact that the classic rock heroes did not play any new material on their tour around the US. The rock band toured with Metallica back in 1992. He went on to add that the band had turned into somewhat of a nostalgic act which, to him, is sad.

However, fans all over the world will no doubt be enjoying the likes of ‘Sweet Child O Mine’ and Paradise City’ as they try their best to have the best time of their lives and celebrate one of the greatest rock bands to ever grace the music industry.
