Guns N’Roses Detained By Canadian Officials For Gun Possession

As if the United States didn’t already have enough gun issues. Mo’ Guns, Mo’ Problems. It seems that Guns N’ Roses had a run-in with Canadian authorities across the border for possession – but not of the substance kind. Axl Rose, frontman and ageing rocker of the rock band, spoke about the situation during a show to fans. He said: “You did what? Oh, yeah, we found a gun. So we weren’t exactly arrested, we were detained. They were very nice, very understanding. You know, it happens. You can forget you had a f*cking gun. Wasn’t my gun.” In truth, it wasn’t. It belonged to someone from the management team who was handling the tour.

As the band played Out Ta Get Me in front of a 50,000+ strong crowd, Axl seemed to joke about the whole episode. The band was crossing the border after finishing a gig at Philadelphia as part of their tour.

Guns N’ Roses are currently on their much-anticipated reunion tour after a lot of speculation on whether they would ever be seen as a group again. Not In This Lifetime Tour includes Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan, while Steven Adler joined them in Nashville and Cincinnati.
