One Directioners, listen up. Harry Styles, former British pop group One Direction member, has just released his first solo single Sign Of The Times. He first teased his new project on March 25 on X Fact UK, with the title and cover art revealed on March 31. A week later, he’s released Sign Of The Times and fans are super excited.
Though listeners would expect him to do something similar to what he’s done earlier as part of the five member boy band, this one is more space rock. You can hear the connection with Style’s music and his inspiration, David Bowie. This one is sure to reach the top of the charts in coming weeks. At the moment, there’s only the audio track that’s been released, but expect the video to reach soon enough, as we’ve already seen him hanging from a helicopter.

Harry Styles is set to perform Sign Of The Times on Saturday Night Live this April 15. Whether he’s looking to release a complete album or will just drop a couple more singles is still unknown. However, he’s bound to not lose any fans with his new career trajectory.
Harry Styles isn’t the first One Direction member to go solo. The first one was Zayn Malik, who now goes as Zayn. He released his album Mind Of Mine that spawned a number of hits, including his award-winning single Pillowtalk which featured his girlfriend, supermodel Gigi Hadid in the video. Fellow boy band member Louis Tomlinson also released his single, Just Hold One with Steve Aoki shortly after the death of his mother.
The beginning starts with: “Just stop your crying, it’s the Sign Of The Times – Welcome to the final show, hope you’re wearing your best clothes.” Uh, this is supposed to be his first solo try. Why is he talking about the end then?
