Among his many, many other talents, Iron Maiden frontman and living heavy metal legend, Bruce Dickinson is sharing his story to his millions of fans around the world. Publishing his first autobiography called What Does This Button Do? he will let the world in on his extremely colorful life.
His autobiography is based on seven A4 notebooks he took notes in during the band’s The Book Of Souls Tour in support of their latest album. The autobiography is being published by Harper Collins and will be available through retail from October 18.
The publishers have released a statement about What Does This Button Do? and Bruce Dickinson himself, saying, “A true polymath, Bruce is, or has been, an airline pilot and captain, an aviation entrepreneur, a beer brewer, motivational speaker, film scriptwriter, twice-published novelist, radio presenter, TV actor and a world-class fencer.”
“In What Does This Button Do?, Bruce shares, for the first time, the most fascinating recollections, including his 30 years with Maiden, the early days, his childhood with the eccentric British school system, going solo, realising his dream of flying jumbo jets and his recent battle with tongue cancer.”
“Bold, honest, intelligent and very entertaining, What Does This Button Do? is the long-awaited window into the life, heart and mind of one of our most adventurous and multifaceted sons.”
Iron Maiden, including Bruce Dickinson have once again teamed up with Robinsons Brewery to drop another Belgian beer called Hallowed.
