Lynrd: After remaining silent over the release of the Lady Gaga track ‘Born This Way’, pop star Madonna has finally broke her silence. When the album was released, Madonna and her camp remained unusually silent, but now the ‘Material Girl’ singer compared the track to her own 1989 hit ‘Express Yourself’.
Critics say that Madonna has spoke nout as she is now interested in promoting the movie ‘W.E’.
The singer, in an interview with Newsweek, said that it was a wonderful way to redo her song and that she recognized the chord changes and thought it was interesting. On the other hand, Gaga was deeply hurt over the musical plagiarism and expressed her grief in an interview with UK’s NME.
Gaga said that it was ‘retarded’ and if the songs are next to each other, the only thing similar would be the chord progression ‘Judas’ singer also added that it is the same one that has been on disco music for the last 50 years. Gaga inger apologized for the usage of the word ‘retarded’.
Last year Madonna also raised eyebrows while commenting about Lady Gaga and stated that she had no comments to make about her obsession with her as she does not know whether her behavior is rooted in something deep and meaningful or superficial.
So now that Madonna has spoken out, has sje finally admitted that Lady Gaga has indeed created a plagiarized version of Express Yourself?
