In a jovial address to the crowd, President Obama said, “She’s (Janelle Monáe)  played so often at the White House, there should be a room named for her.”

According to reports, Obama revealed that the ‘Tightrope’ sensation has a video of him dancing with pop star Usher,  “She can blackmail me at any time. I did not drop and split, but I did bust a move,” said Obama.

Janelle’s 2010 debut studio album ‘The ArchAndroid’ bagged her a Grammy nomination for Best Contemporary R&B Album, it also reached number 17 on the Billboard 200, making it a commercial as well as a critical success.
