American singer and song writer Jason Derulo on January 5, 2012 had to cancel his upcoming ‘Future History’ world Tour, after he suffered a fracture on his neck during rehearsals. The singer announced his condition on Twitter.

Derulo wrote, “I fractured my neck doing tumbling & acrobatics 4 tour! Always tryin 2 push boundaries 4 YOU! Like my new chain? ;)”. The singer enthusiastically talked about the world tour in an interview with MTV, which was supposed to take off next month.

Jason, while explaining said that he was putting himself too much in to the rehearsals. The singer had earlier said that he will be preparing for the tour right after the holidays and will be involved in rehearsals and gymnastics which will make the show interesting.

The ‘Don’t Wanna Go Home’ singer released a statement for his fans in which he apologized to all those who had planned to come to the Future History World Tour. Derulo added that the pain of letting his fans down was more severe than his injury. The singer also said that his fans mean a lot to him and is looking forward to recover and get back to his fans. Till now there hasn’t been any word if the dates could be rescheduled.'
