Lynrd: For all the hip hop fans who have been starving for a taste of Watch The Throne by Jay Z and Kanye West, it is time to breathe a sigh of relief. On 20th July 2011, the rapping due rolled out the single ‘Otis’ from their upcoming album.


The track has been produced by Yeezy and also has a touch of the legendary singer, Otis Redding. Some of the chopped vocals of the singer have been added to the track, while West and Jay Z too match up their street influenced lyrics.

References to the classic hit of Audio Two, ‘Top Billin’, has also been included in the track. The duo raps, ‘Jay is chillin, Ye is chillin, what more can I say, we killin em’.

At the beginning Jay starts off, ‘I invented swag, poppin bottles, putting super models in a cab. I guess I got my swagga back.’ while West adds, ‘Luxury rap, the Hermes of verses, sophisticated ignorance, write my curses, in cursive.’ The duo had released the single looking at the tremendous response from the fans. Though just a few days are left for the release of their much awaited album, but seems like the craze has already begun.
