American musician Jay Z is all set to unveil the updated version of the Tidal Music Service. The singer will announce a commitment to a new direction for the music industry from creative as well as business prospective.
Jay bought the Swedish tech company named Aspiro during early 2015 and is one of those services of whom music streaming site Tidal in a deal worth 56 million US dollars. Analysts from the industry are expected to see the launch of the service that will make Spotify popular in streaming and in listening of major music tracks.
There are currently 30 million tracks available on the service with 15 million paid subscribers. Veterans from the music industry including Usher, Rihanna, Kanye West, Coldplay and even wife Beyonce have made changes according to the teal blue color of Tidal’s website to show their support for the new service. Official Twitter account of Jay Z posted, “‘The Tides They Are-A Changing'” after which Kanye West added, “Together, we can turn the tide and make music history.”
The new announcement came on the same day when Spotify was launched in a new partnership with Sony which will have Spotify on the new PlayStation Music app which will appear on Sony’s Flagship game console.
