Canadian pop star Justin Bieber unveiled his latest track, titled ‘Heartbreaker’. The new song will show the sad and vulnerable side of the singer, especially because Bieber is known for his catchy dance tunes.
Many might think that the new song has been inspired by his former love Selena Gomez, however, it turns out that this is not true. ‘Heartbreaker’ is an R&B song with simple instrumentation in which the young star sings about hoping that his ex will pick up the phone and talk to him. The new song does not resemble any of his previous tracks and will show the serious side of Bieber.
It can also be said that ‘Heartbreaker’ is Bieber’s most honest song to date, though not as catchy as previous ones. There is no drama, but just pain coming from the heart break. During the song, Justin delivers a spoken word monologue, which is no doubt from the heart, but the ‘As Long As You Love Me’ singer speaks in slang, which might seem a bit insincere.
In addition to that, this part of the song does not go well with the rest of the track and sounds slightly immature for the 19-year-old pop star.
