Katy Perry Announces New Album ‘Witness’ + Tour Dates

Katy Perry is on a roll. After dropping two singles from her upcoming album, the pop star has finally announced the title to her much-awaited album – Witness. Capitol Records will be releasing the album on June 9 this year! Already, Chained To The Rhythm and Bon Appetit have received positive reviews from fans, who have been dying for new material since Prism.

 

According to the press release announcement for Witness, the album “reflects on the changes in her own life, and in the world around her, delivering songs that both challenge and inspire”. She also announced her upcoming Witness Tour across North America starting September 7, 2017 in Columbus, Ohio and going on till February 5, 2918 in Vancouver, British Columbia. And Katy Perry is taking philanthropy to a whole new level. With each purchase of a ticket, the buyer will also receive a copy of Witness. Also, $1 from each ticket sale will be donated to Boys & Girls Club of America. Fans are also getting the chance to win free tickets by joining Global Citizen.
