American rock stars Kings of Leon are staying true to their words. Following the release of their highly anticipated album ‘Mechanical Bull’ in September 2013 and the announcement of the first leg of their tour in October 2013 which would see them performing in 16 cities in the United States and Canada in February 2014 and March 2014, the ‘Use Somebody’ musicians promised that they would announce more dates in 2014, which they did on Monday, December 9, 2013.
The ‘Closer’ rockers will take a small break after finishing the first leg and will resume touring on March 19, 2014 with a performance in Phoenix. The newly-announced dates will feature 11 shows in the United States and Canada and will finish up in New Orleans on April 11, 2014. In addition to that, it has been confirmed that Local Natives will open for the band during the upcoming concerts.
As in the past, the ‘Beautiful War’ musicians confirmed that additional tour dates will be announced soon. Kings of Leon’s sixth studio album, ‘Mechanical Bull’ debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard chart, following its release on September 24, 2013.
