Fans of the American Grammy-winning rock band Kings of Leon can breathe a sigh of relief. After going through many problems in the past, including a canceled tour, the band is finally back on the music scene and set to release their new, highly-anticipated album titled ‘Mechanical Bull’ on September 24, 2013.
‘Mechanical Bull’ is the band’s sixth studio album, follow-up of the very successful 2010 release ‘Come Around Sundown’. During the break, all band members, brothers Caleb, Jared, Matthew and Nathan Followill devoted their time to personal lives. All four of them got married and three of them – Nathan, Caleb and Matthew welcomed their first children.
The band, who worked with producer Angelo Petraglia on a new album in Nashville is gearing up for a very busy upcoming period. They appeared at three festivals, including Bottle Rock in Napa, California, Hangout in Gulf Shores, Alabama and Governor’s Ball in New York on Friday, June 7, 2013, however the last performance was canceled due to heavy rain and unsafe stage conditions.
The ‘Use Somebody’ band is currently on their European tour, which kicked off on Sunday, June 9, 2013 and are scheduled to perform in the UK, The Netherlands, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Norway, Belgium, Poland, Spain, Denmark, Portugal and Ireland. They will be returning to the States at the end of Summer, just in time for the latest album release.
