Nu metal fans in the United Kingdom are going to have a blast this Christmas, because two major bands of the scene have announced a joint tour come December – KoRn and Limp Bizkit are set to perform in major cities across Great Britain.
KoRn will be releasing their 12th studio album, The Serenity Of Suffering on October 21st, and already there have been positive reviews with eager anticipation from fans. They already released the audio and official videos for two of the tracks off the album – Rotting In Vain, starring Tommy Flanagan of Sons Of Anarchy fame and Insane. Both tracks have a more goth vibe to them and are artistically created, depicting secret suffering, in continuum with the title of the album itself.
Frontman for KoRn, Jonathan Davis, in an interview with Metal Hammer magazine, says of his personal evolution through the years with the band, “It’s night and day. We’ve been together for 22 years and somehow it’s made me better. Some people paint, they write poetry or they go and beat the shit out of a punchbag. I do it with a pen and a microphone. If you listen to your soul, then we have dark and difficult things inside all of us, and I get mine out to help myself and to hopefully help other people.”
Limp Bizkit, the meantime, have been kind of quiet on the music front. They claimed that they were coming up with an album, their 7th studio album, tentatively titled Stampede Of The Disco Elephants. However, no release date or teaser tracks have been released yet. Maybe they might put something out for fans coming for their tour in December.
