Music’s biggest night is just around the corner, and though we already know the nominees for the Grammy Awards 2017, the list of performers for the grand night are still coming out. News has just dropped that Born This Way phenomenon, Lady Gaga and metal legends, Metallica are lined up to do a set on the Grammys stage – together.
In what could possibly be the most bizarre moment of the night, two different genres are going to come together and blow us away. Lady Gaga isn’t only just a pop star. She is also a self-confessed metal head who has stated Iron Maiden as one of her musical influences. She also likes Black Sabbath’s Black Sabbath. It’s not only about donning metal shirts for fashion, but her passion is metal, and that’s a great thing. She also has a song Heavy Metal Lover from her album, Born This Way. So, maybe they will perform that? Or will they be doing some sort of collaboration on both their albums – Metallica’s Hardwired… To Self-Destruct and Gaga’s Joanne?
Metallica have been nominated for a Grammy this year, and seeing them live anywhere, anytime is just always a treat. Lady Gaga was also applauded by millions of viewers of the Super Bowl halftime Show 2017, when she performed for over 13 minutes wowing crowds with her jump and descend down to a stage, then singing while working a keytar and basically putting on the best show ever. She’s also announced her Joanne World Tour, so it’s the year of Mother Monster.
Other stars performing for the Grammy Awards include pop singer Katy Perry, Bruno Mars, Adele, Demi Lovato, John Legend, Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood, Little Big Town and of course, a very pregnant Beyoncé who is so professional that she’s even committed to performing at Coachella this year, though she’s expecting twins.
The Grammy Awards 2017 will take place on February 13, 2017.
