On December 15, 2012, American singer Lady Gaga turned into a rock star while being with the Rolling Stones on their tour. Gaga took the stage along with Mick Jagger and the crew on the band’s last US stop on their ’50 and Counting’ tour.
The boys performed at the Prudential Centre in Newark, New Jersey. Gaga was seen in a Ray Brown-designed stretch velvet catsuit, along with sky-high platforms. The singer and Jagger were seen grooving to the tunes of the band’s legendary track ‘Gimme Shelter’. As Gaga walked off the stage, Jagger thanked her for stopping by and also called her entry into the concert as brilliant.
Before the ‘Poker Face’ singer interacted with the iconic band on stage, she shared a story about her connection with the band on Twitter and said, “Gimme Shelter. Its just two nights away!! 🙂 Can’t wait to sing with the Rolling Stones on Saturday Night. In 2007, i was stripping to them.” Later the singer also tweeted a picture of herself with the band during rehearsals.
After the show, the ‘Bad Romance’ singer also revealed more information about her performance. Apart from Gaga, the band was also joined by other A-list celebrities like John Mayer, and Gray Clarke Jr on the tour.
