Pop superstar Lady Gaga has premiered yet another extravagant music video. The ‘Applause’ singer revealed the clip for her latest single, ‘G.U.Y.’ on Saturday, March 22, 2014 and wrote on Facebook – shortly before the video’s debut – that G.U.Y. stands for Girl Under You.
The ‘Alejandro’ singer’s latest video is nearly 8 minutes long and starts with men dressed in suits who are fighting while money is falling down the sky and Gaga can be seen winged and with an arrow through her chest, as she lies in the dirt. As she struggles to get up, the injured superstar is carried off to a mansion where she is reborn into a persona resembling a goddess and dressed in white. Gaga is then seen singing the tune and dancing with a number of dancers.
The ‘Poker Face’ singer addressed her latest project on Twitter and wrote, “It is like the Gay Super Bowl at our HAUS. Thank You to all the monsters who have supported me through thick and thin. THIS ONE’S FOR YOU!” Credits roll for 4 minutes following the ending of the clip and state Gaga as director.
The pop superstar will have a very busy schedule almost until the end of 2014, as she is getting ready to kick off her world tour in May 2014. Gaga will tour United States and Canada, Japan, Australia, Israel and Europe until November 10, 2014.
