In recent times, the world of music has been focusing on the bizarre clothes worn by Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry’s latest catchy tune ‘Roar’ and the newcomer Lorde, but Lady Gaga is back on the scene with her latest album and wants to remind both the fans and critics of that. As the pop superstar is gearing up to launch her new album on November 11, 2013, the ‘Alejandro’ singer has unveiled ARTPOP’s cover art.
Jeff Koons designed the cover, which shows Lady Gaga sitting naked, with hands covering her breasts and a shiny blue ball in front of her. Gaga tweeted, “One second I’m a Koons, then suddenly the Koons is me!”, as she published pictures of the cover.
The ‘Poker Face’ singer’s album is all set to be released on November 11, 2013. Meanwhile, the lead single ‘Applause’ is at number nine on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and a new single from the album is expected to debut very soon. The album ‘ARTPOP’ will also be available through an application – which is set to go live in the near future – and something similar was already done by hip hop mogul Jay Z, with his ‘Magna Carta Holy Grail’ album.
