Lynrd: American rapper Lil Wayne, who is on the verge of concluding his I Am Still Music Tour, has planned something special for his fans. As a memory of the tour, the rapper has planned to make a tour documentary.
The documentary will be released by the Young Money Label. While taking about the inspiration to make the tour documentary, Wayne said that he was inspired by Russell Simmons’s The Show in the year 1995 and Jay-Z’s Backstage on the year 2000.
The rapper said that the fans haven’t seen something like this for long and also added that he has the artists to make it happen. Wayne went down the memory lane and said that when he was a fan, he used to be more interested in what would have happened back stage.
The rapper said that it has been long since someone has initiated such an idea and is confident that it would definitely do well. However, not many are aware that the I Am Still Tour documentary isn’t the rapper’s first documentary. When the rapper was jailed he had allowed the cameras to follow him, when he was sentenced to eight months of imprisonment. The video was shot by DJ Scoob Doo, but was never released.
