Famous American rapper Lil Wayne is reportedly ready to leave the music scene for good. The recent rumors and speculations have stated that the ‘How To Love’ musician is working on his final solo album and that the upcoming record, titled ‘Tha Carter V’ – scheduled to be released in May 2014 – will be Lil Wayne’s last.
The rapper himself addressed the news and said, “I personally plan on this being my final solo album, yes and it’s definitely the final Carter album. It’s the final Carter album. It’s stopping at five.” The ‘No Worries’ musician – real name: Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr. – founded his own record label called Young Money Entertainment in 2005 and some of the superstars signed under the banner include Nicki Minaj and Drake.
Wayne explained that he might be appearing on tracks with other musicians in the future, but that is all her can promise. Despite the star’s decision, his fans still have plenty to look forward to, as he is working on ‘Tha Carter V’, his 11th studio record. While talking about his upcoming album, the rapper said that it will be impossible for him to work this hard again for anything else.
Wayne also admitted that money can be the reason for him to make another record after this one, under the condition that he earns $25 to $35 million.
