British recording artist Lily Allen on June 21 thrilled her fans by hinting that she soon returning to her world of music and will soon be coming out of retirement. The 27 year old announced in the year 2010 that she was leaving the music industry.
But in some surprise for her fans, the singer Tweeted on June 20 that she was back to the studio with her old collaborator Greg Kurstin. Allen wrote, ‘You will be pleased to know that i am currently in the f**king studio with @GregKurstin.’ The singer added, ‘No big deal really, i’m just throwing s**t at the wall and seeing if anything sticks.(sic)’
Kurstin has earlier worked with Lily on her two albums and has also collaborated with Kelly Clarkson and Marina and the Diamonds. In the month of April, the singer was spotted outside a recording studio, but had till now maintained silence over her return in the industry.
Close friends of the singer said that writing music for the Bridget Jones musical made her crave to make records again. Lily gave up music so that she could focus on fashion and opening a vintage fashion boutique, Lucy In Disguise with her sister.
