British girl group Little Mix, six months after winning the eighth series of the X Factor, have released their second single ‘Wings’. The group at last premiered the single in front of a huge crowd at T4 On The Beach in Weston Super Mare.
The group consists of Leigh Anne Pinnock, Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson and Jade Thirlwall. Last year the group reach to the number one spot on the charts with their cover of the Damien Rice song ‘Cannonball’.
But the girls are now back with a track which has been co- written by themselves. With the worlds like Words don’t mean a thing, I’m not listening’, the girls are continuing with their motive of being a positive role model for the young girls.
While on the show the group was mentored by Tulisa Contostavlos and will be giving their single ‘Wings’ its first radio airplay on Radio 1 on July 2, 2012. On August 19, it will be released as a downloadable single. While the fans who cannot wait till August 19, they can go to YouTube where the song has already been put for streaming through their official Vevo page.
