The fans of Lorde are still enjoying her breakthrough hit ‘Royals’ or the follow-up, ‘Tennis Court’ and they are about to be given more. The label of the singer is now planning to release a new single from her debut album, titled ‘Pure Heroine’. The latest track of Lorde is ‘Team’ and the new tune is anchored by Lorde’s inimitable voice.

The young singer in ‘Team’ sings, “We live in cities you’ll never see on screen / Not very pretty, but we sure know how to run free / Living in ruins of the palace within my dreams / And you know, we’re on each other’s team.”

Just like her smash hit ‘Royals’, the new song has the same tempo and Lorde again sings about things which remind us that she is, in fact, still a teenager. The song mentions that when you are of that age, your friends are all that you have, helping you navigate through life.

The lyrical sharpness and prowess is further manifested with ‘Team’. When it comes to music, the voice of the singer is surrounded by synthy twists, repeated beats and handclaps. The singer delivered the lyrics in an authentic and pure way, which Lana Del Ray could only wish for.
