Mariah Carey cancels Christmas tour dates on doctor’s advice to rest

The Heartbreaker hitmaker, Mariah Carey has actually broken some hearts for real when she cancelled her Christmas concerts due to her ill-health and her doctor’s advice.

The singing sensation is currently suffering with a respiratory infection that has made it impossible for her to continue with her entertaining performances for the holiday season 2017.

Carey took to social media to give her fans the heartbreaking news. She wrote: “You know there is nothing more than celebrating the holidays with my festive Christmas show, but I have to take my Doctor’s orders and rest until he says I can sing on stage.”

The shows that have been cancelled are Christmas concerts at the Caesar Windsor in California and at the Chicago Theatre. As the tickets are reportedly being refunded for some dates for the festive Want for Christmas’ tour, even her forthcoming shows in Pennsylvania might not take place.

The tour that was initially supposed to begin from Friday, November 17, 2017 in Ontario, Canada will not take place. Instead her website claims that her first concert date will be on November 27, 2017 in New York City.  Her next month’s dates for London on December 10 at Manchester Arena and December 11 at London’s The O2 haven’t changed though.

Meanwhile, some of her fans who call themselves “Lambs” said that they will be praying for her and hope for her speedy recovery. Others just expressed their disappointment and worry about the tickets to her shows that they have already bought.
