Lynrd: American rock band Maroon 5 has teamed up with Coca-Cola to create a benchmark by writing and recording a song in 24 hours – with the help of their fans on Twitter. The song has been already completed and the video of the song has also been released online.
The band has created ‘Is Anybody Out There’, which clearly matches the style of Maroon 5. The video of the songs features the band in the studio and covers how the song was made.
Adam Levine, the lead vocalist of Maroon 5 said that it was a unique experience. Adam added that they hope to go down the Guinness Book of World Records.
The song is available on Coca-Cola’s website for download. Moreover, for the first 100,000 downloads , Coca-Cola on behalf of the downloader will donate certain amount for the Coca-Cola Africa Foundation’s Replenish Africa Initiative, also known as RAIN.
The foundation helps the people in Africa to get access of clean water. The Maroon 5 band is an American band based in California. The band was initially known as Kara’s Flowers and released their first album in the year 1997. It was only after a year that the band adopted the name Maroon 5 after which they released their debut album Songs About Jane.
