Fans of the American pop-rock band Maroon 5 will have to wait a little before they can see the band again. The entire UK leg of their tour had to be rescheduled by the band members.
The band was supposed to perform six shows in June 2013, including two concerts in O2 Arena and one at Dublin’s O2 Arena. Media reports said that Adam Levine and the rest of the band will return to UK and Ireland in January 2014.
The original tickets will be accepted and fans who want a refund will have to return their tickets before June 30, 2013. Other tour dates that have been rescheduled include July 2, 2013 show at Bercy Arena in Paris and July 3, 2013 show at Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome. These dates have been cancelled and rescheduled, respectively, on January 19, 2014 and January 20, 2014.
The band did not give any reason behind this change, except ‘scheduling conflicts’. Maroon 5 was apologetic and released a statement to their fans to inform them about the reschedule. Levine in a statement said, “We are truly sorry for any inconvenience we have caused our European fans”. The front man added that they will be back in January and will put up a show to remember.
