American musician and actor Meat Loaf has rescheduled one of his tour dates in the UK. The singer was due to a headline the event, which would have taken place at the FM Arena at Nottingham’s Capital on April 14, 2013. However, the decision to cancel the show was taken at the last minute
The gig was cancelled just an hour before the singer was supposed to hit the stage. The venue issued a statement which explained that the show had to be postponed due to medical reasons, which had affected several members of the band. The fans were informed of the event at around 6:30 pm, even though the doors were expected to open by 7 pm.
Meat Loaf fans need not be disappointed, as the show has been rescheduled for May 20, 2013 and all the tickets for Sunday are valid for the rescheduled date. However, if the fans are unable to make it for the new date, then they will be eligible for a refund from their point of purchase.
The band will continue with their farewell tour of the UK at Manchester Arena in Wednesday April 17, 2013. Meat Loaf is considered to be one of the best selling artists of all time and has marked worldwide album sales in excess of 80 million. The singer has also appeared in more than 50 movies and television shows.
