Metallica’s New Moth Into Flame Is Heavy Metal Heaven!

Heavy metal legends, Metallica have done it again – they released a brand new video for one of the tracks off their upcoming 10th studio album. Moth Into Flame is available on Metallica’s Official Website and now on YouTube. Fans are already hailing praises for the 6:09 min video that begins with the fading sound of Hardwired and then the madness begins!

In Moth Into Flame, bassist Robert Trujillo shreds followed by Kirk getting his long signature solo. Lars doesn’t shine through and remains in the background. However, frontman James Hetfield has his vocals on fire, with lyrics that go like –

So light it up

Ah, light it up

Another hit erases all the pain

Bulletproof

Ah, no excuse

You’re falling, but you think you’re flying high

High again

Sold your soul

Built the higher wall

Yesterday

Now you’re thrown away

Same rise and fall

Who cares at all?

Seduced by flame

A moth into the flame

Addicted to the

Fame

Wow! With lyrics mainly written by Hetfield, it looks like Metallica has gone old school again and picked up similar subjects that they covered for Master Of Puppets. Since their 9th studio album, Death Magnetic, this is the only complete album with fresh tracks that they are releasing, their last being a special cassette version of their demo album, No Life ‘Til Leather that included their first ever hits, responsible for straightaway catapulting them to instant legendary status – Hit The Lights, The Mechanix, Motorbreath, Seek & Destroy, Metal Militia, Jump In The Fire and Phantom Lord.

Their 10th studio album is titled Hardwired……To Self Destruct. The first track off their unreleased album, the single garnered millions of views within a few hours of release, though the initial response was a little too critical. It must be remembered that these guys have been around for decades now, taking over their contemporaries, and with majority of them in their 50s, it is commendable that they can still do it better than so many fresher bands today and that they still got it in them to inspire yet another generation of metal addicts.

Metallica’s 10th studio album, Hardwired……To Self Destruct will release on November 18, 2016 through Blackened Records. I know what I want in my Christmas stocking this year! YOU CAN PRE-ORDER THE ALBUM HARDWIRED……TO SELF DESTRUCT BY METALLICA HERE.
