Lynrd: A tribute concert has been announced by the family of the late pop sensation Michael Jackson. The concert will take off on 8th of October 2011 in Cardiff Wales.
The concert will be held at the Millennium Stadium which has a capacity of 75,000 people. The four hour show will be telecasted through the satellite on the pay per view basis in the movie theatres.
Some big names in the music industry are supposed to perform at the concert, but the names of the performers have been kept under wraps. The ‘Michael Forever’ show was announced on Monday at a press conference by the family members of Jackson, Katherine, who was later joined by sons, Jackie, Toto, Marlon and daughter LaToya.
MJ’s mother Katherine said that when she was told about the artists who would be performing for the concert, she knew that it was fit for the king. Jackson’s mother added that if her son was alive today then even he would have felt the same way. Michael had died in June 2009 of heart attack due to the drug overdose. Surprisingly, the date of the concert is the same day when Conrad Murray the doctor of Michael would be facing trial of murder charges on the ‘Thriller’ singer’s death.
