Motörhead Legend Lemmy Passes Away

The rock n roll world is currently numb to hear about the sad demise of band Motörhead’s frontman and bassist, Lemmy Kilmister. The 70-year-old legend passed away suddenly on December 28, as announced on the band’s official post on Facebook.

It is believed that on Boxing Day the rockstar was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer, but was still unaware about its danger. Condolences, mostly about disbelief, good memories and being at a loss of words, came from all over the metal world, including other major bands like Metallica, Slipknot, Pantera, Slayer, Motley Crue and so many more.

The rocker was known for his wild lifestyle, that he described in his autobiography – White Line Fever. He even boasted about the fact that he is “invincible” and was a gallant man, always seen with a whiskey bottle that he later swapped for vodka due to “health reasons”.
