Nathan Sykes to go solo with debut album

British singer Nathan Sykes is all set to kick off his solo career as a pop star as The Wanted have decided to give themselves some time. Sykes does not feel like being silent and is all set to release his debut album that he has described as ‘soulful pop’.

Nathan clarified on phone in an interview and said, “I’m far too young to put on hold my music career. I feel like I have a lot to give and I feel like I have a lot of music to write and a lot to prove as well.” The singer in an interview expressed his ambitiousness and declared that he has more than just being a young one from The Wanted.

However, Sykes confessed that it at first it seemed strange not recording with his bandmates. The singer has also decided to pen down his own feelings to make an album so that would feel very personal. Nathan has joined hands with Diane Warren and Babyface at the studio. The singer while talking about his writings said that he has written about a few breakups, romances and more. Nathan added that there will also be a few songs that will talk about relationships.

The first single from the album is expected to be out during Spring 2015.
