Nothing Else Matters As Metallica Unleash New Single

\m/ Get your horns out, headbangers! Metallica dropped it like it’s hot – the heavy metal band released a brand new single called Hardwired. They not only did that, but also let fans know that their album is up for pre-sale! The title for their latest release is going to be called Hardwired…To Self Destruct and will be live from November 18.

The lyrics for the chorus go as:

Gone insane

We’re so f*cked

Sh*t outta luck

Hardwired to self-destruct

The video for the first single from the yet-to-be-released album has already garnered over 1.5 million views, and it has been just around 12 hours since the upload, as we write this. Let’s break YouTube records, people! Already there have been great reviews for the song, though some fans are comparing their current work to how badass they used to be in the past, especially with their classic albums. But let’s be real, these guys are getting old and their overall musicianship is epic compared to so many of their contemporaries out there.

Metallica’s last official album release was Death Magnetic way back in 2008. Fans weren’t really happy with the result, as the band had already sent precedents with their legendary past albums like their demo No Life ‘Til Leather and other wonders Master Of Puppets and the massive Black album. So it seems completely fine that they would take their own time to bring back the Metallica magic with their music. Of course, we haven’t really seen an evolution in this particular genre really, and since Hetfield and Ulrich are basically the godfathers of heavy metal in the United States, they really need to keep it up with what they now put out.

Over the past few months they constantly teased fans with short clips of their time being spent in the studio and most recently contributed towards Record Store Day after releasing Lords Of Summer.
